この度、さらなる表現の追求と、特定の場所や形式に捉われない「Web時代の新しい作家の在り方」を模索するため、拠点を本サイトへと移転いたしました。
本ショップは、全精力を注いだメインブランドM・A・Wの原画販売ショップです。本ショップに加え、「より多くの方にアートを身近に」という願いを込めたスピンオフブランド『M・A・W Spin-off』も併設しております。
私の視点を通して切り取った水彩の世界をお届けします。一枚の絵が、皆様の日々に穏やかな彩りを添えることができれば幸いです。

描くことへの情熱と、独学で磨き上げた、唯一無二の視点。
子供の頃から模写や鉛筆画に親しみ、仕事では建築パースやエアブラシ、デジタル制作に長年携わってきました。プロの現場で培った多種多様な経験が、私の絵の基礎となっています。
専門的な教育は受けておらず、すべて独学で技術を習得してきました。遠回りもしましたが、その分、自分だけの表現を自由に追求できたと感じています。絵と向き合う瞬間の気持ちを大切に、これからも独自の作品を形にしていきます。

2016年より水彩画の販売を続け、海外20カ国以上・数百点の原画をお届けしてきました。2023年・2025年には「わたなべまさと水彩画作品集1と2を出版。京都をはじめとする日本の風景を、透明水彩の光と色で記録しています。

Thank you for visiting. I am Masato Watanabe, a watercolor artist.

For over a decade, I have focused my activities online, delivering hundreds of original artworks to collectors in 24 countries worldwide. To further pursue my artistic expression and explore the "new way of being an artist in the Web era"—unconstrained by specific locations or traditional formats—I have moved my primary base to this site.

This shop is the official home for my main brand, M・A・W, featuring original paintings into which I pour all my energy. Alongside this, I have established a spin-off brand, "M・A・W Spin-off," created with the wish to make art more accessible to everyone.

I invite you to explore the world of watercolors captured through my unique perspective. It is my hope that these paintings bring a sense of gentle color and serenity to your daily life.

About the Artist: Masato Watanabe
A passion for creation and a unique perspective refined through self-study.

Since childhood, I have been drawn to sketching and pencil drawing. Professionally, I spent many years working with architectural perspectives, airbrushing, and digital production. The diverse experiences gained in these professional fields form the very foundation of my painting today.

Without formal art school education, I have mastered my techniques entirely through self-study. While this path was sometimes a detour, it allowed me the freedom to pursue a style that is uniquely my own. Cherishing the emotions I feel in the moment I face the paper, I will continue to give shape to my original vision.

Achievements
I have been selling watercolor paintings since 2016, delivering hundreds of original works to over 20 countries. In 2023 and 2025, I published "Masato Watanabe Watercolor Works Vol. 1 & 2." I continue to document the landscapes of Japan, including the historic beauty of Kyoto, through the light and color of transparent watercolors.
